This is from Eskişehir, Turkey when the people from various cities started protests against the oppressive corrupt government.
Here’s another photo from the protests:http://www.ulusalkanal.com.tr/images/upload/halk.jpg
BTW, none of those police officers were harmed…

AKP'NİN İSTANBUL'U: DÜNYANIN PARLAYAN YILDIZI

mtunay:

Güzel İstanbul, dünyanın parlayan yıldızı.

Bir kere, her şeyimiz en büyük. En büyük AVM, en büyük adalet sarayı, en büyük gökdelen.

Fakat dünya yıldızı olmak için sadece “büyüklük” yetmiyor.

AKP zekası ve estetik değerlerine sahip olmadan “yıldız” olunmuyor.

Dilerseniz dünyadaki bazı büyük…

Vay be. Elin adamlarının AKP zihniyetinden öğreneceği daha ne kadar çok şey varmış be…

Just watch it.

oh……my fucking

No, seriously. Watch the video.

but guys…can you imagine what would happen if someone hacked the highways?

HERE’S THE LINK TO SOLAR FREAKIN’ ROADWAYS GUYS

image

SIGNAL BOOST THIS SHIT

BOOST THE SHIT OUT OF THIS NAO.

this video was hilarious and really through with this subject. come on guys support this cause (or signal boost it for your friends), this is pretty much the first i’ve ever thought about donating more than $100 on.

GOGOGOGO!!!

Not to burst everyone’s bubble but I think you guys should really think this through:

Just watch this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H901KdXgHs4

And read these:

http://www.extremetech.com/extreme/183130-solar-roadways-passes-1-4-million-in-crowdfunding-just-short-of-the-56-trillion-required-but-not-bad-for-a-crazy-idea

http://jalopnik.com/why-the-solar-roadway-is-a-terrible-idea-1582519375

Some bulletpoints:

  • The plan is ridiculously costly and ignores the fact that the only electronic more expensive per square foot than solar cells is LED signage, both of which are called for in the plan.
  • The bumps on the prototype Solar Roadway glass hexagons are about an inch apart. A car driving at highway speeds moves about 100 feet per second, so the bumps would make a very well-defined tone of about 1 kHz. That’s a medium-pitched whine. Get used to it, because you’ll hear it ALL THE TIME.
  • Putting these in parking areas will result in one thing: When cars park on these areas, they will block the sun. So it won’t do the only thing that it was designed to do: Collecting solar rays.
  • They passed $1.4 million in crowdfunding: Just short of the $56 trillion required (after all the real World calculations)
  • They say that heating pads will melt the snow and ice in the winter. Winter, the only time of the year when the sun rays will be the lowest. They will use the little sun rays that they receive to melt the snow (which is borderline impossible from a thermodynamic point).
  • The part where they say they use recycled material for the solar panels is a lie: You can’t make clear glass (which is a requirement if you want the sun rays to pass the protective glass) from ground-up colored glass. So not nearly environmentally friendly as they make it seem.

I’m not saying you shouldn’t give your donations. I just think making the donation based on scientific information and real-world calculations would be better for everyone…

I'd also like to point out in regard to the 'Dad' and 'Daddy' issue/ask sent in that Daddy is a more affectionate and friendly term than Dad, and it's entirely possible Lily's relationship with Mitch has evolved to the point she feels closer to him and wants to call him Daddy too. That, and she's a child, she's not going to be working over time to differentiate between the two terms.

fymodernfamily:

Here’s another good point. :]

OK, that makes it a little better. She started seeing both Mitch and Cam as “Daddy”. I can live with that :)
